Description
Zulfiqar A. Malik, MD, PhD is board certified in Hematology, Oncology, and Internal Medicine. Dr. Malik received his BA in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Cornell University where he was awarded a research grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. After graduating from college, Dr. Malik received a grant from the Medical Scientist Training Program and enrolled at the University of Iowa where he was conferred an MD degree and a PhD in immunology. After completing his training in 2007, Dr. Malik has focused on a wide variety of benign and malignant hematological conditions, as well as solid tumors. He is also actively involved in clinical trials in lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, and lymphomas.
